Panasonic's Advanced O.I.S. shifts a corrective lens as you shoot to help eliminate the effects of hand shake, so you get clear, sharp shots even at high zoom levels. It's an essential feature for getting the most out of this incredible zoom lens. With the H80, you can use the iA function whether you're shooting in motion or still images. In iA mode the camera detects the shooting situation and automatically activates whichever functions - such as Advanced O.I.S., Face Detection, and Intelligent Scene Selector - will deliver the optimal results. Forget about bothersome settings during important scenes and trust iA to give you the optimal shots. Anyone can enjoy easy, video uploading! Easy Uploading to YouTube - with the included software "VideoCam Suite" Step 1: Shoot. YouTube limits videos to 10 minutes. In Web mode the camcorder uses a 10-minute countdown system, so you're assured that the recording won't be too long for YouTube, and you won't have to edit it down after shooting. Step 2: Connect. The Upload mode in the VideoCam Suite is automatically activated as soon as the camcorder is connected to the PC. Step 3: Upload. For the price of $259.00 the camcorder is worth every penny. I thank Amazon.com for providing such great products for incredible deals. Best Buy has this same model camcoder for $349.00 before tax. Pesonally i will not shop @ that store for any reason. The camcorder works great my only dislike is low light recording. works perfect otherwise. P.S. With 60gb hard drive, you will never have to buy dv or dvd. rate it 4of5.

I am still having problems coming to terms with operating this camcorder. The best thing about it is its light weight and portability. While I did not expect HD quality pictures, I certainly believed that the picture quality could be better. Unless there is professional lighting, it is a total waste of time trying to use this camcorder in the night. It is quite suitable for a child to experiement with but an adult wanting to capture serious moments would need to look somewhere else.

Size, ease of use, features and zoom are real good for the price. But both video and still picture quality is very,very poor. My wife bought this for me as a Christmas present but I cant wait to return it..What good is a camera if the picture quality is 3rd rated..
